“I’m a huge fan of gyros and try to find the best one in every city. I’m happy to say, so far More Than Greek takes the cake. Many times I run into a common situation where you sacrifice quantity for quality or quality for quantity. Happy to say this is NOT the case here.
I ordered the mega lamb Gyro and a side greek salad for a total of $9.98 before tip. It was AMAZING. I pulled up on a Friday night around 7 and the parking lot was filled. There was maybe 1 or 2 small tables available – everything else was packed. This is a good sign.
I walked up to the counter and placed my order and had a seat. I ordered it to-go because I figured I’d just munch outside on the blue picnic tables. Within 10 minutes my order was ready.  Meanwhile I was watching all the servers buzz around the restaurant and the cooks prepare the orders.
I opened the salad first and it was a nice size for a side salad. The salad dressing was probably homemade and absolutely perfect. I’m happy to say they weren’t stingy with the feta either!! Really enjoyed the salad.
The main course was the Gyro and it was HUGE. VERY well stocked with meat and veggies. Very flavorful and the tzatziki  was fresh and full of flavor. I’m definitely coming back! A+ food, great mom and pop atmosphere and superb value!”

“Wow! If you have to take the 295 detour due to 95 traffic, you must stop into this place.  It is authentic Greek food.  Best Baklava I’ve ever had!  The lemon chicken soup was delicious.  The chicken and lamb comb melted in your mouth.  Setting was humble but tasteful and very clean – excellent price! Great service!”

“Wow! Just wow! Had lunch here last Friday and was blown away. Started w/ the tzaziki appetizer which was beautifully presented and very tasty. A little more chopped mint might have been nice, but, I assure you, I have no complaints. My Santorini platter was wonderful and my wife enjoyed her dish, too.  Loved their pastry case! Many other Greek restaurants buy their pastries but I believe these were all freshly made. Superb baklava! Can’t wait to go back and I live 70 miles away!”

“I had been to More Than Greek for lunch, but this was the first for dinner and the first for my husband. We’ve just gotten so tired of the same old food so while we were in the area we stopped for dinner. I told the waitress that it was his first time, so she brought us the plates with the samples of Lemon chicken noodle soup, chili and the mini baklava. I normally do not care for lemon chicken, lemon pepper BUT it was amazing. I did not taste the lemon as much as I could feel the citrus. My husband agreed. The chili was very good, but that baklava………..OMG! I melted. We got the Dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) excellent with the lemon and sauce. I ordered the stuffed pepper and he ordered the stuffed cabbage. Both came with green beans that had onions, tomatoes (or could have been red peppers) and garlic. So delicious. The warm pita bread would be great just to dip in the sauce of the meal. The pepper was stuffed with the right amount of meat vs. rice. It was tender, but not overcooked. By the time I got around to asking my husband about his stuffed cabbage, it was gone! He said it was really really good. We were stuffed as much as I wanted another baklava, but I resisted. I did take some of my meal home for lunch the next time. The service was good. It’s a small little place, nothing fancy, but that’s exactly the way we like it. Try it, you will not be disappointed.”

“My wife had lunch there w/ her cousin as a first time visit. So glad we went there! Great service and superb food! I got to Athens and Crete a few times w/ the Air Force but that’s been forty years ago. The food at More Than Greek rivals any meal I had in Greece itself. Their take on tzaziki is wondrous to behold. A little more fresh mint would have been welcome, but it also was not overpowering w/ garlic. Just right, in other words. All of our entrees were fantastic and their selection of Greek pastries – locally made, not imported from Florida – were delicious. We live 70 miles away but plan on going back from time to time. Too good not to go.”

“Small family run restaurant offering a variety of home cooked food. You can enjoy an authentic Geek dish or try their delicious spaghetti and meatballs. Our favorite is the lamb gyro which is filled to the top with tender, flavorful meat. The baklava is the best dessert ever. The staff is friendly and often provide customers with a free sample of one of their desserts. I place we like to visit often.”
